His research interests are in the fields of: Business Firm Growth; Economics of Innovation; Industrial Dynamics and Market Regulation; Economic Analysis of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
He has presented the findings of his research in seminars, conferences and given invited lectures at, among the others: National Bureau of Economic Research, London School of Economics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Columbia University, Berkeley University, the OECD, European Econometrics Society, Ecole de mines, Ecole Polytechnique, The Johns Hopkins University, the AAAS, the Council of Foreign Relations, The Royal Institute of International Affairs.
