EPRIS analyzes the salient features of healthcare, research, and industrial systems in the European pharmaceutical industry, and their impact on industrial growth and competitiveness.

EPRIS is aimed at contributing to the creation of an open and competition based European single market, as a way to strengthen the pharmaceutical industry's competitiveness, promote patient's access to new innovative medicines, and meet Members States' public health policy objectives.
